Our instructional designers run the SME interviews, write the storyboards, and own the build through upload and smoke-test in your Stage environment, with accessibility signed off throughout. Most vendor models split the work across teams. One team storyboards, another records voiceover, a third develops, and an accessibility consultant parachutes in at the end. In practice, someone on your side ends up tracking all of it. We run it as one loop, with storyboarding, development, QA, and accessibility checks all in house.
Most eLearning vendors hand you a file. We hand you a course that launches clean in your Stage environment, uploaded and configured. Our instructional designers work alongside the same Certified Cornerstone Experts who run systems for clients, with more than ten years on Cornerstone between them, so when the course needs to be set up correctly in your system, that knowledge is already in the room.
What GroveDeck Logic does in the build
Logic does the groundwork. It works through storyboard drafts, checks accessibility throughout the build, and flags QA issues as they appear, not at the end. By the time the instructional designer reviews a storyboard, the routine work is behind them and the real questions are already visible.
The instructional designer brings the craft. They decide what the course needs to teach, how to structure it for the audience, and what to push back to the SME. That’s what turns a well-checked draft into a course your learners actually finish.

- Course builds. SME interview to upload, accessibility sign-off included. One team owns the whole build.
- Accessibility audits and remediation. Every learner gets in, whatever device or assistive tech they use. Full WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 audit, and we do the fixes, not just produce a report.
- Tracking and packaging. Your compliance team gets the records it needs at audit time. SCORM or xAPI: we advise on what your requirements actually need, then handle the build.
- SME-led storyboards. We interview your SMEs and write the storyboard. You don’t have to make them instructional designers.
- Voiceover and localization. Professional voiceover, captions, and multi-language localization, with a written script your team can check.
- Content library hygiene. Duplicate audit, retirement of outdated content, refresh planning. No graveyard catalog.
How a course gets built
Kickoff. SME interview, objective alignment, first storyboard draft. Nothing goes into development until the storyboard is approved. You’ll talk to the same instructional designer throughout.
Build. Development, accessibility checks, voiceover, and QA run together. Logic flags issues as they appear so they’re resolved before your SME sees the course.
Review. Your SME reviews a working course, not a spec document. One round of revisions, scoped and managed by the instructional designer.
Delivery. Your learners open a finished course that tracks correctly on Cornerstone. Final sign-off, packaging, upload, and a smoke-test in Stage.

Common questions
How involved do we need to be during the build?
Your SME needs about ninety minutes for the initial interview and one review of a working course. Everything else stays with us.
How does your accessibility process actually work?
It runs throughout the build, not at the end. We finish with a full WCAG 2.1 AA audit in Cornerstone’s player and a written sign-off for compliance.
Do you handle tracking and packaging?
It depends on what your compliance requirements actually need. SCORM or xAPI. We work through that with you before anything gets built, then handle whichever approach fits.
Can you fix accessibility issues in our existing library?
Yes. We audit, prioritize by risk and remediation cost, triage ADA, Section 508, and PSBAR courses first, then do the fixes. If the source files are gone, we’ll tell you whether it’s worth rebuilding or retiring.
Can you handle multi-language localization for regulated content?
Yes. Professional translation with in-country review. For healthcare, government, and higher education, anything where a mistranslation creates legal exposure gets human review.
