Cornerstone and your HRIS, finally agreeing

Cornerstone OnDemand connected cleanly to Workday, SAP, and your HRIS stack: records that agree, automations that run, drift that gets caught before it becomes a ticket.

Cornerstone Workday & SAP Integration Consultant

When the systems disagree, everything downstream breaks

Workday says someone changed roles three weeks ago. Cornerstone still has the old hierarchy, the old assignments, and the new role’s compliance training never fired. An audit asks why the history is split across two snapshots. Nobody can answer.

Enrollment automations fail quietest. A provisioning job drops records, and nobody notices until a new hire is three weeks in with no curriculum. SAP and ADP add their own versions. GroveDeck owns the integration layer and watches it around the clock.

Continuous reconciliation, not quarterly cleanups

The GroveDeck engine monitors your integration connections continuously. When Workday org data drifts from what Cornerstone sees, the engine surfaces it. Our Certified Cornerstone Experts fix it, or the automation runs inside the governance we set together. The engine keeps a clean audit trail, so your next audit has answers.

What we connect and what we automate

Cornerstone ↔ Workday

Org chart, provisioning, role changes, manager hierarchy, terminations, reflected cleanly in Cornerstone.

Cornerstone ↔ SAP

Cornerstone has no native SAP connector, so we build one: compliance records, role-based assignment logic, and payroll-adjacent training requirements.

Custom HRIS connectors

ADP, UKG, Ceridian, or homegrown: if it feeds Cornerstone, we map it and monitor it.

Content library connectors

LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft, Coursera: connected cleanly, completion data flowing back into Cornerstone.

Single sign-on

SSO with a monitored fallback. When it breaks, learners get a degraded experience, not a locked-out one.

Recurring automations

Provisioning, enrollment triggers, reminders, expiration notices: automated, monitored, corrected when they drift.

From broken to running itself

Discover what’s connected

We map every integration in your tenant. Most tenants have a connector nobody documented.

Reconcile current state

We compare Cornerstone against your HRIS, fix the backlog, and document it.

Automate the recurring work

Provisioning, assignment triggers, reminders: configured inside your governance, tested, handed to the engine.

Monitor for drift

When Workday updates, when SAP changes a field, when a job fails silently, the engine catches it. You don’t hear it from a learner or an auditor.

Questions on integration work

We already have a Workday consultant. Do we still need you?

Probably for different things. They own the Workday side. We own the Cornerstone side: how Workday’s output feeds enrollment logic, permissions, and reporting. We coordinate with Workday consultants regularly.

Can you fix integrations someone else built?

Yes. Most of our integration work is inherited: a connector built years ago, undocumented, drifted from its spec. We audit it, document it, and fix what’s broken.

What happens when Workday or SAP releases an update?

The engine catches it. Both vendors ship updates on known schedules, and some change field names or formats the connector relies on. We fix breakage before it reaches learners or reporting.

Can you build a custom connector for a system Cornerstone doesn’t natively support?

If it has an API or a structured export, we can build against it. We’ve connected Cornerstone to payroll, credentialing, and scheduling tools with no native connector.

Cornerstone and Workday should agree. We make that happen.

When the systems are clean and automations run, your team stops reconciling by hand. Certified Cornerstone Experts in your tenant within ten business days. Month to month, no lock-in.
